A few weeks ago, my boss called the team for a meeting. Little did we know that the meeting would be almost two hours. It was all fine and great, however I didn’t have my watch on that day so I had no idea what time it was. I took a glance around to see if I could find anyone else with a watch that I could steal a peek at.
Only one person in my row, who happened to be sitting next to me, was wearing a watch. I stared at it for a few seconds but I wasn’t able to see what time it was. Hmmm. So I whispered, “Hey Jackie, what time is it?” She double-tapped the face of her watch and all of a sudden her watch lit up like a Christmas tree. Lights danced around the outside of the watch and finally landed in the spots that read about 10:15 like a roulette table.
My focus for the meeting went right out the window after I saw this amazing light-encrusted wrist piece. I kept staring at it, hoping that she’d want to check the time so I could see the light party again. And again.
When the meeting was over, I hounded her for the deets on this baby. She told me it’s made by a company called Time-Peace. The theory of the LightWarrior watch is “not to tell you the clock time, but to remind you to be present in the only moment that ever exists-now.” I couldn’t have put it better myself.
The LED light that blinks is the hour and the solid line of lights tell the minutes. Genius. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one of these babies. My only problem now is that I’m having a difficult time living in the moment when I want to see the lights parade around my wrist constantly. I guess it’s not that big of a problem!
Time-Peace has also come out with adorable crop tees. They’re fun for wearing with high-waist skirts or for lounging around in sweats! Yes, this is how I lounge..
Even better, Time-Peace is offering us 18% off with the code LetsTalkTwenties at checkout until December 31st!
Check out Time-Peace’s site above. There are tons of videos and more information about the watches. This will definitely be my favorite gadget of the season, and I hope it your loved one’s too!
