It’s that time of the year when it seems that you’re always starving and the only things you can find are cookies and chocolates. Only because it’s this time of year, it’s acceptable. Aren’t we all setting New Year’s goals to lose those annoying holiday pounds?
It’s also that time of the year when we travel by every mode of transportation possible to see our loved ones. In some cases that means flying, driving, or maybe just walking. For others it could be a phone call or a Facebook message. For me, it’s the train.
I can’t tell you why, but I really love taking the train. It’s so relaxing (as soon as the fighting kids behind me get off at the next stop) and the city views are amazing as we journey to the outside world.
For my travel today, I wanted to be comfortable. But, more important than my comfort is the fact that from the train station in Boston, I will head to a family party, then ice skating, then church. How am I supposed to dress for all of those when I come straight from work and a long train ride?!
Well, I chose to go with a neutral color palette. A grey, puff-sleeve top with jacquard green pants and a brown jacket. Half vintage, half Zara.

Now, please get off your computer / phone / iPad and spend some time with your family! Try to remember, as much as they drive you crazy, they hopefully got your some wonderful gifts and you did the same for them!
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a great week!
