A Texan Invasion // Kimberly’s Trip to the Lone Star State

A note from S:
Good morning and happy Thursday my loves! I would like to introduce Kimberly, or Kimmy (dancing girls emoji) as she is saved in my phone. She recently had a Texan excursion and I was obviously all, “OMG, take pictures and tell us all about it!” So without further adieu, let’s welcome LTT’s sweetest darling intern / LTT PR Coordinator, KIMMY!!

Hey y’all! Just kidding, I don’t actually use that. The Texan got into me. I had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Home of the Alamo: the oh so hot state of Texas!

My go to: Quesadillas ❤

Exploring and Tex-Mex were my two favorites throughout the entire trip.

A girl can never have to much Mexican food and especially at a 100 miles away from the Mexican border. I had to make sure chips and salsa were involved in every meal!

Carry-On Essentials: Juicy Couture Tote, Juicy wallet, iPod, Theysken’s Theory shades, Nikon camera, a good read or two (Italian Language book, Classy by Derek Blasberg, Thanks S ❤ ), my makeup bag, and my handy dandy MacBook in a Vera Bradley laptop case.

As for the travel essentials and wardrobe, I always over pack. You never now what you’ll need, so why not pack everything and more for a couple of days of adventure? Well, thanks to strict luggage weight restrictions, unfortunately, a girl has to coordinate ahead of time.

My carry-on is always loaded with my valuables in case of any emergency stops and of course anything to keep me from panicking on the 4 hour flight there
(I love to travel, but I despise turbulence!).

Hollister Co. knit, Forever 21 shorts and cami, Michael Kors watch in Rose Gold, Steve Madden sandals, and my cute and gold Four Jays Bow.
For a long day of traveling, comfort is key. Since it  was borderline 100 degrees and more, I needed to wear shorts for sure.

LBD by H&M, Juicy Couture bag, Just Fab heels

After spending a full day with my momma, my favorite traveling partner, we headed off into the night to explore and soak in the Texan night life.

If there is one thing I always pack, it’s an LBD and a pair of heels that go with just about anything. I loved walking around the San Antonio Riverwalk. A great place to take pictures and walk off all that Mexican food.

VS bandeau and Target bottoms

Down time? You can never go wrong with lounging by the pool and soaking up some Vitamin D. I made sure to pack a sun hat and a cute bikini.

Sun hat and my very cute Life is Good beach bag

Take a fun trip somewhere new, it always does us good. If you’ve never been to San Antonio, I definitely recommend it.

Pack a bag and explore this awesome city- or anywhere new for that matter, it will do your life wonders! Promise!

Happy Adventuring!

xoxo,
Kimmy
