A day at The Grove called for a comfortable, shopping-friendly outfit. Packing light and mix & match pieces made it pretty easy to formulate different looks, like this one complete with A-line skirt, cropped tank, and my favorite ankle strap sandals that are still totally appropriate after Labor Day because it’s 75°.
California weather is funny because it can be in the 70’s during the day, get a bit chilly in shadows, then get real cold at night. At least the Californians think it’s cold..lol. So, I grabbed this mustard colored sweater, from H&M and less then $10, on my way out the door.
top: Brandy Melville, skirt & sweater: H&M, sandals: Target, earrings: Gas Bijoux, sunglasses: Ray-Ban
Also, saw this super cool antique looking mirror in a parking garage and obviously needed to do a fishy face.
Then drinks at Nordstrom’s Verde restaurant, which by the way -if you’re in the area, it’s super cute and Connor the bartender is an absolute doll!
Pitstop for viewing of the Hollywood sign. I took this picture through a touristy binocular tower for .25, certainly worth the money!
Ps. if you’re in the NYC area, be sure to RSVP to the Let’s Talk Twenties Soiree hosted by me and HouseTab! Deets here –> LTT Soiree!
