You could say I’m an apple connoisseur. I can often tell the kind of apple by taste. But often times, I cannot. It all depends on if it’s a Fuji or Braeburn apple. If it’s not either of those, then there’s a slim chance I’ll know what kind it is. I do love me a good apple though.
We had an impromptu family apple picking sesh Sunday morning before I headed back to the city from my lovely weekend home to New Hampshire. Despite missing my train Friday morning and scrambling to find another method of transportation home, it was a great weekend. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect.
Though the trees aren’t starting to fully turn yet, the crisp chill in the air that makes it perfect sweater and scarf weather is my favorite time of year. Surrounded by lush green trees and the sound of my little sister giggling, what more can a girl ask for?

Luckily I didn’t notice the large white pumpkin eyeballs while taking this picture since all I can think about now while looking at it is how likely one of them would be to fall on my head.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend too!
