Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you to THE FASHION BROAD.
June 3rd marks my blog-birthday. Three years ago, I started my first blog with no clue what I was doing. I called it Let’s Talk Twenties, and it quickly became my pride and joy. Over the last three years, my love for blogging and passion for fashion grew like crazy. I decided to take a plunge and relaunch my baby blog with a new name and new look, but it’s still the same me! Just with a bit more of a fashion focus, and more about New York City.
So speaking of fashion, let’s get to it! 🙂
When I purchased these culotte overalls, if that’s what you want to call them, I had no idea the suspenders existed. They were tucked into the pants and didn’t even find them until I put the pants on and wondered why they were fitting me a little funny. Well it was because the straps were wrapped around my legs on the inside of the pants.
I hung onto these pants for probably a month before I found the perfect look with them. I kept trying them out with different tops; some cropped, some collared, others plain. I just couldn’t find anything I loved. Then I dug into the back of my closet, and found this gem of a top, a vintage stretchy Burberry striped crop top. With slit sleeves and an amazing fabric, this was the one that I’d finally pair with my culottes. I wore this look to an event in the Meatpacking district in the city. The cobblestones were only a small challenge…

I am so thrilled to finally have The Fashion Broad live, and I hope you love it as much as I do!! My blog is truly my biggest passion and brings me so much joy.
