So, if you love rosé, then Pinknic should definitely be on your radar. But for next year, because it just happened this weekend. It’s a two-day long festival on Governors Island in New York City that’s all about that wonderful pink wine. With a suggested dress code of pink or white, it was a sea of girly-looking ladies and preppy boys.
After a quick few sips of rosé at home, touching up our pink nails, and some final finishing touches of blush and bobby pins, a ferry brought my friends and I over to the island around 11am. By the time we got there, the line was already crazy long. So luckily brought lots of snacks to munch on while we waited.
The deal was that you can bring your own food and snacks for the picnic part, but no outside dranks allowed. Totally understandable, and gave us a perfect excuse to get a few bottles of sparking Chandon rosé. I’ll take it! Here are a few pictures from the day, wishing I had a glass of rosé in my hand now!
Let’s also just talk about this amazing dress for a sec. Holy moly, I felt like such a princess!! I ended up alternating between my heels and sandals throughout the day, but I don’t even think it mattered. I rented it from Rent the Runway, of course, and it’s by Halston. I’ve linked it here just in case you’re on the hunt for a dress, I have been loving RTR lately with all these events I’ve had lately!
Happy Monday!!
