I’m really stepping out of my fashion comfort zone with this post, a super sweet and salty summertime recipe. I tried it for the first time a few months ago, and it’s stinking amazing. It’s a delicious and easy afternoon snack, or a fab app to serve to guests at a summertime party.
Here’s what you need:
A few ripe pears
Sage leaves
Ricotta
Honey
Prosciutto
Salt & pepper
- Lightly sauté the sage leaves in some oil until they’re crispy, as seen below
2. Mix together about a cup of the ricotta with a tablespoon or so of honey. Add some S&P and mix
3. Slice your pears into thin-ish slices. You could even maybe cube them if you’re feeling adventurous!
4. Lastly, add a dollop of your ricotta and honey mixture onto a pear slice, add your crispy sage and wrap with a piece of prosciutto and voila!
How amazing do these look!? I was totally new to sage before I tried out this recipe, and now I love it! The sweetness of the honey totally balances out the saltiness of the prosciutto. So good, definitely try it out.
Happy Thursday!
