Leopard Wardrobe Addition, What Took Me So Long?!

Why did it take me so long to get leopard print heels. It’s one of those things where you don’t know what you’re missing until you try it. Like, getting a massage for the first time or having authentic ramen. I want to wear them with everything all the time, and this weekend I pretty much did.

I took a trip home to New Hampshire for the weekend to see my family. I’ve been going a bit further north lately to stay at Lake Winnipesaukee so the ride is about 7 hours instead of the usual 4 to 5. This time I splurged on a train ticket rather than the bus or renting a car because it’s so much more relaxing and I can sip on some wine and snacks straight from the cafe car.

When my mom finally picked me up and I was wearing these shoes, she said ‘what happened to your shoes?’ I gasped and looked down thinking that I’d stepped in green paint or torn off some of the hair. Luckily, I hadn’t, and she was probably just commenting in agreement that I should have gotten leopard shoes earlier!

So I wore this awesome Who What Wear ruffle top from Target (less than $20 right now, linked below!) with a short sleeved turtleneck under it to make it more Fall appropriate. At first, I had a statement necklace on, then decided I just wasn’t feeling it and switched to earrings.

I think that these heels just make everything about this outfit complete. I mean, honestly. Put your hand over my shoes in the picture above. It’s just boring without them!! But, if the print is too much for you, or if you already have leopard in your closet, these come in black and burgundy also! Linked below 😉
