Metallics for Days

For the short two weeks that I’ve had this skirt, I’ve already worn it four times. If anyone tries to tell you that a metallic pleated skirt isn’t easy to wear, tell them they’re straight up wrong. It surprisingly can go with anything; I laid it out with a blue and white gingham plaid top, a floral print silk top, and this mustard sweater. The sweater won because I skipped out on the tights, and it’s winter.

So I’m sure you know that Zara is having a massive sale. If you live in a four block radius of one, you can probably see the line out your window. Go there, only if you’re mentally, physically and emotionally prepared to spend a portion of your day waiting around. Bring snacks, a portable phone charger, and probably a cot. This skirt was worth the line for me, but I had to get a medium because there were no smalls left. So my solution to the extra fabric? A belt!

And there’s that jacket again! You know, the one that I can’t stop wearing even though it’s 30 degrees outside. Also, I have to call it out before anyone else does, I spilled coffee on my bag and missed a spot cleaning it off. I can’t see my keyboard because my eyes are rolling too far back at myself. Ugh, get it together!
