All About the Accessories

It’s apparently almost Spring because we’ve lost an hour of sleep which somehow means we gain an hour of daytime? Anyhow, I’m just excited to start bringing some [minimal] color into my wardrobe. Not that Winter means no color, but Spring definitely means ***CoLoR***. So slowly but surely, I shall bring a bit more color into my life most likely only through accessories.

My earrings and bag take the cake for this look. I scored both on sale and have been wearing them nonstop, despite the fact that a blizzard is schedule for this week (which means it’s really still winter in Mother Nature’s eyes). And you’ll remember in last week’s post I wore both poolside here! But wearing them with a sweater, dark jeans and this oversized bomber, that I also scored on sale in Miami, takes the look back to wintery, just enough.

Jacket & Jeans | Zara
Sweater | Free People (on sale & tons of colors)
Boots | Celine (similar and a lot less expensive!)
Earrings | Baublebar
Sunglasses | DIFF Eyewear

It’s pretty awesome to be able to transition accessories seamlessly from one season to another just by changing the clothing. In this case it was warm (Miami) to cold (New York City), but will soon enough be back to warm. Come on Mother, give us the warm!

Also, I finally created a SNAPCHAT account just for TFB, so be sure to follow it to see what I’m up to – username is THEFASHIONBROAD 🙂
