It’s Been a Minute

I know, I know. I’ve been putting things other than new blog posts first in my life lately, but I’m crossing stuff off my list left and right so don’t get used to the quiet on my end! I’ve been a busy little bee out here in sunny California! Still living out of boxes, but you better believe my holiday scented candles are out and burning. In this case, the priority is clear. Here’s what I’ve been up to.

So one of the best things I’ve done since being here is renting bicycles and riding over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito with my first visitor from NYC. Yes, it was absolutely terrifying, especially since we all know what happened last time I got on a bike (though that one had a motor). Somehow, despite the phrase, I got back on a bike and couldn’t remember how to ride. I’ll admit that my bestie Carolyn had to do an instructional dry run with me in an empty parking lot before we took to the pavement.

In the end, after a lot of mental coaching (myself to myself, internally and aloud), we make it to Sausalito and after a few glasses of rose decided we’d take the ferry back to the city. We had a great time, and now I can cross that off my list with a permanent marker. Shout out to Columbus Cyclery for helping us out with bikes and gear! And I’ll let the jokes slide about me asking for elbow and knee pads.

Here are some snaps from our adventure, and another few shots I found on my phone from the last few weeks. Most of them are of the sunsets because I still cannot get over how incredible they are here. And I thought seeing it over Jersey was beautiful…

That’s all I have for now, but I am working on some SERIOUSLY amazing content for you all for the next couple of weeks. Haven’t even thought about doing a gift guide this year. Thoughts? Should I do one or are you all already done with your holiday shopping? Jk about that one. But for real, lemme know!

Ps. Shoot me an email if there’s anything specific you want to know –! And if you just want to follow along, snapchat is the way to go: TheFashionBroad – yes, it’s that easy.
