Back to the Big Apple

New York City will always have the most special place in my heart. I was lucky enough to stop by on my way through from New Hampshire last week, and even though it was the hottest and most humid weather I’ve felt in my entire life, I am so glad I made it happen.

It’s been about five months since I’ve been and so much has changed in such a short amount of time! Aside from seeing my friends, I was most excited to eat. And boy did we eat. I got to show my boy around my hometown, and we even tried a few new-to-me restaurants. My favorite being Tim Ho Wan, linked. Please go, and please get the baked bun with bbq pork. Do it, for me.

I’ve been looking around for a silky tank for quite some time, and came across this one on ASOS and became obsessed very quickly. I love that it’s not a plain solid color and I don’t tend to go for stripes. But this one, I am going for. Also, not the best choice of time to break in my new espadrilles. Tight leather on a hot day is not the best.

Tank : ASOS | Jeans : Joe’s | Earrings : Baublebar | Sunglasses : RetroSuperFuture | Bag : Burberry | Lipstick : Nars

And I’d also like to add that after these pictures were taken, my hair went right up into a pony and I changed into a dress. Not as cute as the girl in the flowy lavender dress, but a cute one nonetheless. Just keepin’ it real with y’all 🙂
