Everyone needs a white (faux) leather jacket. At least that’s how I feel. Especially for the Spring, and I totally scored this one from Nasty Gal a few weeks ago (um, everything was 70% off?!). I’ve been wearing it during the day and out at night, and my favorite way to wear it lately is layered over a hoodie. Not today though!

Fishnets are the new black, if you haven’t heard. And I decided to try them out in white, with my new white and blue striped skirt because it’s winter and winter is about breaking the rules. I haven’t worn fishnet tights since my dance years (dying to take a ballet class in the city, suggestions!?) and they feel just like I remember them. For the short two weeks that I’ve had this skirt, I’ve already worn it four times. If anyone tries to tell you that a metallic pleated skirt isn’t easy to wear, tell them they’re straight up wrong. It surprisingly can go with anything; I laid it out with a blue and white gingham plaid top, a floral print silk top, and this mustard sweater.
